Why only Marrakech? A unique journey started for me in Marrakech in 2015, that was. It started when we were told “Please be at the airport in Marrakech on 15.04.2015 at 3pm, bring your backpacks, joy and cash. You will be picked up by Laxen” . “Alright”, I thought to myself this should be fun.
It’s 4:30pm and I see a “desert guide” with my girlfriend at the time and yes, he really did look like one, white robe, slippers – not a word of English. The adventure of Morocco has begun and our first night in Marrakech in the middle of the medina and the next day in the gardens of Saint Laurent was unforgettable.
